The manufacturing plant, based in Ashburton, produces custom made non-slip plates and stair nosing’s for a variety of end users form heavy industrial plants, light industrial manufacturing facilities, commercial office buildings and domestic applications.

There is a variety of standard nonslip step nosing’s available off the shelf, however the manufacture of floor plates and their specific measurements will need to be custom made.

Ease of Installation

All our nonslip nosing’s and plates will arrive to you pre-drilled for fixing purposes (unless otherwise specified) and are designed to be installed quickly and easily by any member of your maintenance team.

There are different fixing methods for the Webforge type platforms and steps. The securing method for these is slightly different depending what series the platforms or steps are. A universal clip is required and is positioned underneath the nosing/plate and a bolt is passed through the nosing/plate, through the clip and a nylock nut is used secure the bolt.

On metal steps and platforms, the products are fixed with bolts or screws.

On wooden steps, ramps and platforms, concrete steps and walkways, the nosing’s/plates are screwed down using high quality screws or bolts or in the case of a concrete substrate, drive pins and or a suitable adhesive would be best.
